This week’s tips will encourage you to be creative with your instruction. Play literacy games and use multisensory methods to teach concepts!
- Many of you have been encouraged by the school to work on a set of sight words. If you’re looking for a fun way to practice them, go to www.sightwords.com. With some printing and cutting you can play sight word versions of Hangman, Dominos, or Uno (and several other games, too).
- To remember a letter or sound, have the student form the letter out of play-dough. Then have the student SAY the letter/sound while they TRACE the letter/sound with their finger.
