Here is the first week of tutoring tips:

• Please remember to set some specific, measurable goals with your student each week.  Don’t wait much longer to add this structure to your tutoring session!  Ask them about these goals throughout the session and reward with stickers or games if they reach their goals.
• Don’t wait until the end of the book to ask questions about the book’s plot, characters, problems, etc. Ask these questions throughout the book!
